The early registration period has also started for Atrax - the Turkey-based international business platform for the global amusement-attraction and recreation industry - which has grown upwards with its international visitors and business potential since its inception.
While 90 percent of the exhibitors keep their places growing, many domestic and foreign brands are applying to take part in the exhibitor. Tureks International exhibitor has announced that the advantageous early registration period will continue until 30 march 2023.
With the motto #weplaybig we will bring together thousands of sector representatives within the scope of Atrax, and work continues at full speed to carry its success even further in 2024.
We evaluated the last exhibition with Atrax manager Nergis Aslan and answered our questions for the next fair.
How was Atrax? Was it successful for you?
“Yes, we left the fair very happy. Our organization, which we have been preparing for a long time and meticulously planned, was crowned with success for all of us with high visitor interest.
A total of 22605 professional visitors from 62 countries, including 6330 foreign visitors, met in Istanbul to see the products and services exhibited by 196 suppliers and brands from 16 countries, to connect and to evaluate business opportunities.
The fair had great repercussions both in the press and in the industry. It was also featured in many international and national publications before and after. The intense interest of the public and local governments also pleased the participants.
Atrax has strengthened its position among the important fairs in the world with its high level of foreign interest and great business connections. The sector received more attention than we expected due to the strong producers and buyers in Turkey and the surrounding countries, high business potential and similar reasons”.
How was your international visitor? Which countries do they mainly come from?
“As far as we can see in the participant surveys, the highest number of thanks to us was due to the higher number of international visitors than expected.
Exhibitions held in Istanbul, one of the most important trade points of the world, the junction point of Asia and Europe, have been flooded with visitors especially in recent years.
In the 2024 exhıbıtıon, it is expected that foreign visitors will increase at a record level. It is seen that professional buyers from Europe, the Middle East and nearby countries as well as South America, Asia Pacific and African countries are now starting to prefer Turkey.
Atrax exhibitors met with 6330 foreign visitors from 62 countries, mainly Russia, Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria, Balkan Countries, Eastern and Western Europe and African countries”.
What are your expectations for the 2024 exhibition?
“Atrax will meet with the industry for the 11th time on January 11-13, as the first exhibition of the year in 2024, and our exhibition sales have started with 90 percent occupancy with the companies that maintain their place next year. We aimed to increase our exhibitors and visitors by 25 percent and expand our area. We started the work without a break. Next year, we will bring the industry together as an exhibition that has become stronger with many innovations and developments.
In 2024, we are preparing for an international and ambitious exhibition with the motto of #bigplaying.
