Sbc Summit launches Media headquarters for 2024 event

Scheduled for 24-26 September, Sbc Summit will welcome 25,000 global attendees. With the introduction of a dedicated Media headquarters.

The Sbc Summit in Lisbon is set to elevate media engagement with the introduction of a dedicated Media headquarters, designed to serve as a central hub where representatives from operators, suppliers, and affiliates can connect directly with journalists from top industry publications. 

Scheduled for 24-26 September, the event will welcome 25,000 global attendees. Sbc has launched the initiative to add value for both attendees and media partners by enhancing networking opportunities, strengthening connections, and aiding brands in their brand awareness and lead generation strategies. Additionally, it provides media partners with the tools they need to execute their event coverage plans effectively.

Dennis Algreen, marketing director at Sbc, said: “The Media headquarters will provide attendees with unparalleled access to journalists, editors, and commercial staff from leading publications across the sports betting, online casino, and affiliate marketing sectors.
The setup is designed to give the media a strong connection to the event and the necessary facilities to produce substantial, in-depth coverage and content.”

Press Box Pr, a leading public relations agency with a team of seasoned journalists and Pr experts, has been named the official partner for the Media headquarters. With their wealth of experience, Press Box Pr will oversee the management and operations of this crucial zone, facilitating seamless interactions between media professionals and event participants.

The Media headquarters zone will also host 16 media publications, each exhibiting with a stand strategically located directly in front of the Media headquarters. These stands are positioned between the main venue entrance on one side and the Meo Arena entrance on the other. Among the exhibiting media are  Sbc Media, along with other prominent names such as Gioco News.

OTHER KEY FEATURES OF THE MEDIA HEADQUARTERSPress conference room: A dedicated space for product launches, business announcements, and exclusive interviews. This zone within the Media headquarters will host press conferences and Q&A sessions, providing a platform for companies to present their latest innovations and news directly to the press (schedule coming soon).
Interview zones: Four interview booths will be available - one of which will be bookable by media attendees, providing an ideal setting for one-on-one interviews, podcasts and in-depth discussions. 
Media lounge: A comfortable workspace equipped with desks, chairs, and plenty of power outlets. The Media lounge is designed to support journalists and writers, providing them with the resources and refreshments they need to produce timely and accurate coverage of the event.
On Monday, 23rd September, Sbc invites all media professionals to a Media briefing reception. This event will provide an early look at the venue with a guided tour, including a detailed walkthrough of the Media headquarters. The reception will conclude with an exclusive Sbc press conference about Sbc Summit 2024 and the future plans for the flagship event.

Additionally, the Sbc team has created a Google drive folder to help attending media prepare for the event. This resource includes press releases related to the Sbc Summit, as well as releases from exhibitors and sponsors, which media partners are encouraged to share on their platforms.
